The Acromag ARCX1100 is a SFF Embedded computer designed for Defence & Industrial Applications.
Firstly, it is customisable off the shelf, SWaP-C optimised and a proven deployable computing solution. With a modular platform it contains a carrier card hosting COM Express Type 10 CPU. Along with a range of AcroPack I/O modules that offer a variety of communication, monitoring, and control functions.
Secondly, the front ports allow easy access to Gigabit Ethernet, USB, Video and COM Signals. Plus, high density connectors to interface simply with field signals.
Thirdly, the ARCX1100 is currently used in applications such as: Vetronics, C4ISR, Payload Management as well as command and control for drones and robotics. It is an ideal portable communication system. This is because you can add A/D, D/A, discrete I/O, RS232/RS485, CAN bus, Ethernet, FPGA, MIL-STD-1553 and other signal interfaces. Additionally, by using the AcroPack Plug-in I/O modules provides a more rugged alternative to mini PCIe modules as it eliminates the need for internal cables. Plus there are more than 25 AcroPack models to suit your I/O requirements.
