A new generation of rugged, compact, and high-performance uninterruptible power supplies. Available in Australia and New Zealand through Metromatics.
Engineered to deliver maximum SWaP optimisation (Size, Weight and Power). Firstly, these UPS units provide 1000W of clean, reliable power in a lightweight half-width rack footprint. The Half Rack UPS Series is made to keep important systems powered. It works well in the field or in small modules, racks, and cases. It is ready to use “At the Quick Halt” or “On the Move.”
Built for Demanding Missions
The Half Rack UPS units are purpose-built for rugged environments, with compliance to strict MIL-STD standards:
- MIL-STD-461G for EMI/EMC protection
- MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration testing (20G shock, 2Grms vibration)
- UN-DOT 38.3 for safe transport of lithium batteries
They also operate across a wide temperature range (-20°C to +55°C) and withstand high humidity conditions. Therefore, making them ideal for both mounted and dismounted tactical operations.
Compact Power, Flexible Options
Three core models are available today:
- 1U AHB1001 – AC input to 28/48VDC output, 1kW power
- 2U AHB1002 – AC/DC input to DC output (28VDC), 1kW power
Each unit offers SNMP and RS232 communications, making remote monitoring and control straightforward.
Battery performance is optimised for tactical scenarios. Therefore, providing 20 minutes at 400W load or 6 minutes at full 1000W load, with recharge in just 3 hours to 90% capacity.
