3RP3KA Chargers / DC Supplies

The 3RP3KA chargers and DC supplies are used for float charging valve regulated lead acid batteries.  These chargers and DC supplies are built into steel enclosures and made for bulkhead mounting.  They are also suitable for shock levels up to 15g and withstand ship motion from sea action, weather, accelerations and velocities from deliberate ship manoeuvres.  As a result, they are perfect for rugged environments and naval defence applications.

The 3RP3KA chargers and DC supplies are used for float charging valve regulated lead acid batteries.  They provide a high quality output of 27.4 volts dc and 24V for ships 24V systems.  As a result, in the event a ship’s normal power supply fails these chargers allow the ship to switch to the emergency power supply.

These chargers and DC supplies are built into steel enclosures and made for bulkhead mounting.  They are also suitable for shock levels up to 15g.  For shock levels above 15g, suitable shock mounts are available.  Additionally, these units also have an Ingress Protection level of IP23 and are suitable for electrical compartments and IP44 suitable for machinery spaces.

Finally, meters that indicate lamps and the mains ON/OFF switch are on the front of the equipment for easy access and viewing.  Access for maintenance to the power module and main control circuits is also located on the front of these units for convenience.
