The LevelCon F100M provides remote access to measurements from compatible sensors installed on hydrogen storage vessels and associated equipment.
The connected sensor performs the measurement, while the F100M collects and securely transmits the data to the LevelCon Portal. As a result, authorised operators can view readings remotely and configure alerts for measurements outside nominated limits.
What Can the F100M Monitor?
The available measurements depend on the hydrogen storage method and connected sensor. Depending on the set up, the system may monitor:
- Vessel or line pressure
- Differential pressure
- Cryogenic pressure
- Temperature
- Other suitable industrial sensor measurements
Compressed hydrogen is generally monitored using pressure and temperature rather than a conventional liquid-level sensor. However, liquid hydrogen and other specialised storage systems may require different sensing methods. Therefore, sensor selection must consider the vessel design, operating pressure, temperature and hazardous-area requirements.

How the System Works
First, a compatible sensor measures the required pressure, temperature or other operating parameter. The F100M then receives the reading and sends it through the configured cellular or optional satellite network. As a result, authorised users can view current and historical data through the LevelCon Portal or a compatible third-party platform.
Additionally, users can configure alerts for readings outside nominated limits, subject to the selected portal and communications configuration. Consequently, operators can respond to changing storage conditions without relying solely on manual site inspections

Sensor and Installation Requirements
Hydrogen applications require careful sensor and material selection. Therefore, the selected equipment must suit the hydrogen form, pressure range, operating temperature, vessel connection and hazardous-area classification.
Importantly, the F100M does not independently detect hydrogen leaks. Instead, leak detection requires a dedicated, compatible hydrogen gas detector and an appropriately engineered monitoring system.

Pressure and differential-pressure measurements require compatible sensors, such as the LevelCon WP01V or WP01D. The F100M does not independently detect hydrogen leaks or provide explosion prevention.
