However, measurement accuracy depends on correctly accounting for the liquid’s density and operating conditions. LevelCon documents the APT350 for liquid chemicals and other harsh liquids.
External and Differential-Pressure Sensors
External pressure sensors can measure from a suitable connection near the bottom of the tank. Meanwhile, differential-pressure sensors may suit sealed or pressurised vessels when properly configured. The materials, pressure range and process connections must match the application.
Existing Industrial Sensors
LevelCon sensor nodes and gateways can also connect with compatible wired, wireless, analogue, digital or Modbus sensors. This flexibility may allow an existing industrial sensor to become part of the remote monitoring system.
