WiFi Data Acquisition offers more freedom and flexibility in comparison to wired connections. As a result, this device is perfect for moving vehicles. That’s because while on a moving vehicle, users can use Dewesoft’s WIFI DAQ to transfer data to a base station where, precise adjustments can be made based or data analysed.

Furthermore, wireless transfer can reach up to a 2km range in line of sight. It also has selectable Dual Band frequencies of 2.4GHz and 5 GHz.

Compatible With All Dewesoft DAQs

The DS-WIFI is compatible with any Dewesoft DAQ system that needs a remote connection data transfer from or to a remote location. That being said, please note that DS-WIFI requires a PC computer for work. It can be used with:

• A modular Dewesoft DAQ system connected to a standard PC or also to one of Dewesofts own industrial grade and rugged SBOX or KRYPTON CPU computers.
• DAQ system with an integrated computer such asMINITAURs, SIRIUS models R1DB, R2DB, R3, R4, or R8.

Finally, multiple computers and DewesoftX software instances can also connect, control and communicate over Dewesoft NET.

The DS-WIFI also has a long wireless range. For example, it can reach up to 2km in an open environment. In contrast, range is limited in a closed environments with obstacles.

Additionally, DS-WIFI also has a rugged metal case that is fully sealed and completely waterproof. As a result, it’s perfect for outdoor testing and rainy and dusty conditions. To top things off, DS-WIFI wireless modems can also operate in a temperature range of -40°C up to 70°C.
